Zafen/Fonkoze recruiting in Haiti- 2 positions: Administrator and Business Analyst

Background:
Fonkoze, in partnership with the Haitian Diaspora, the Vincentian Family and DePaul University (Chicago, USA), is developing, implementing, launching, and will be maintaining a multi-lingual website with many of the attributes of a Person-to-Person (P2P) lending model, such as the KIVA.org website, though also with several distinctions. The goal is to increase access to capital for both rural and urban productive and social entrepreneurs throughout all of Haiti, focusing on small and medium enterprises primarily.

The site will allow Haitians living abroad and other friends of Haiti worldwide to make informed, secure and easy choices with regard to where they wish to donate or loan funds to sustainable community projects in Haiti. In fact, one of the distinctive elements of the site is that the projects featured will meet specific criteria for positive economic development impact and/or sustainability so that their current need for funding will decrease consistently over time.
The website has been created by DePaul University and will then be maintained on an ongoing basis by Fonkoze, who will also serve as the content manager, coordinated by a joint steering committee for the collaboration. In order to manage the operation of the site and populate the site with productive, effective, viable and attractive projects to which stakeholders may then contribute or loan funds, it is imperative to put together a Project Management Team in Haiti.
