I was driving home yesterday and listening to an oldies radio station. Listening to the O-Jays got me in the mood to listen to Stevie Wonder. So when I got home I pulled the first CD of his that I found on my shelf.
I don’t think that I’ve ever really listened to the words of this song, but how profound it is. The very basic question is, would we like to live the way these “Others” live.
The answer from a good part of Harlem, Brooklyn, San Francisco, Florida, Afghanistan, Palestine, Kyrgyzstan… is Hell No! If we only listened to the words and took them to heart what a different world this would be.
